Staying Safe in a Storm
By Curtis Bull
This spring a large number of devastating storms and tornados have ripped through our country. Most recently, tornados ripped through Tennessee and Georgia. The photo to your left was taken by our own Lynn Hudson as she drove through Tennessee recently. The building was once a Ruby Tuesdays restaurant. The restaurant was hit by a tornado and seven people lost their lives as a result of the storm.
Storms such as these have caused ever increasing property damage totals and loss of life. Fortunately, South Carolina has been spared from the most severe damage, but that could change with one storm.
There is no way to prevent acts of nature such as thunderstorms and tornados. However, we can take steps to be prepared. Working with The Turner Agency to obtain sufficient property insurance is a great way to help replace your property in the event of storm damage. Unfortunately, our most important assets cannot be replaced.
