Safety Programs for Contractors

By October 22, 2019April 2nd, 2020Contractors Insurance

As your enterprise grows, you become more than just a business; in the eyes of the federal government you are now an employer. As an employer, you must maintain a safe and healthy workplace for employees. Those rules are enumerated in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA).

Some of the most common OSHA violations include:

  • Falls from platforms and ladders
  • Hazardous chemicals on the worksite
  • Scaffolding accidents
  • Respiratory illnesses due to environmental hazards
  • Machinery with moving parts

We believe that safety is the number one concern for anyone in the construction industry. As a business owner, it’s important to build a complete contractor safety program. If you struggle with or have been faced with an OSHA violation, or you don’t know where to begin to implement a safety program, we can help.
